And now for something a little different. But there's still a horror tie-in, kinda sorta.
Meet Zane Zombie. Zane is the nattily-attired star of the card above as well as the official mascot of the Bleaux Leaux Reveaux. I actually drew Zane myself, but I really don't have much to do with why he looks so cool, so colorful, so retro and so in-the-now all at the same time.
As it happens, I'm married to the lovely and talented Boni of Bonibleaux Designs. The woman could care less about scratchy old horror movies (or spiffy new horror movies for that matter), but in the world of stamping and crafting, she's got serious game. Think Stacie Ponder if Stacie created kick-ass cards instead of kick-ass posts about obscure 80's slasher flicks.
ANYWAY...here lately we've been collaborating on some digital stamp creations, and you can check them out in the gallery here at the Bonibleaux Designs store. I'm seriously out of my element here, so fortunately my part is really simple: I draw a picture, and Boni uses her magical powers to demonstrate the awesome artistic possibilities to the rest of the world. And voila! Instant fun!
Now, I'm guessing that the overlap between horror bloggers and craft bloggers is, like, whisker-thin. At the same time, though, I know the horror blogging community is fairly well infested with arty, creative people cranking out all sorts of creations in all manner of mediums. This post is for those particular folks who might dig the groove we're layin' down, so if you're feelin' me, come check us out!
